K-On is one of my favorite shows because of how fun and silly it can be but, also because the music is pretty great. Ritsu is equally fun to cosplay and I loved putting this costume together. It was my first purely solo costume and I learned some good things while working on it.

The outfit was fairly simple to make since I took a shirt pattern and modified it into a dress. I dyed the wig myself (a couple of times) to get the right color I wanted. I also made the belt I wore at Otakon.
