A favorite comic book character of mine is Poison Ivy. I loved her first in Batman animated series and she’s been at the top of my list of characters I’ve wanted to cosplay. My first quick costume I made for her was inspired by a cute fan art I found. This is a very comfortable costume to wear which is key for long and crowded events like New York Comic Con.

A good portion of this costume was sourced or came from items I already owned. This helped me cut down on time since I was making other costumes at the time, and material costs. I did makes the top from scratch. including making the pattern for it.
